Who we are…


‘Au Frisson Normand’ was founded in 1989 by former Chef Eric RIBOT
in their family farm of GARNETOT, Normandy - FRANCE

In the early days…
We transformed our pasture milk into delicious whole milk ice creams and then, started producing tasty fruit sorbets with a 60% fruit content

Starting 1993, based on a family recipe, we launched our own milk jam.
Available in 6 natural flavors
                             
1997 :  1st innovation prize awarded for the high quality apple jam called ‘Raffiné de Pommes’,
made out of cooked apple must (for 18 hours) and resulting from the caramelization of the apple sugar, called fructose

1998 : New flavors available chosen among the tastiest local fruit
Pears, strawberries, raspberries, black currant, etc…

2000 :  the farm was labeled ‘organic’

 

 

Since 2003, a wide selection of our products were labeled Normandie Gourmandie (Normandy – Land of Gourmets), symbol of high quality


 

Today, our company is going strong …

 

30 000 KG of preserves and 30 000 L of ice creams and sorbets are produced each year
